|Ales On Tap|
We normally have 3 ales on tap. The ales are changed regularly so there is always something new to try at the moment we have :
|Spitfire Premium Kentish Ale is the biggest ale success story of the last decade. Originally brewed to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, its characteristically Kentish, hoppy flavor and risque advertising campaign has made it a firm favourite with beer lovers.
Winner of a gold medal and Best Strong Cask-Conditioned Beer of the World at the Brewing Industry International Awards, Spitfire Ale (4.5% abv) is now Shepherd Neame's biggest-selling cask conditioned ale. Spitfire Ale has Protected Geographical Indication, the same regional produce protection afforded to Champagne and Parma Ham.
Fortyniner is named after the 1849 gold rush. Golden in colour and brewed to 4.9%, Ringwood has been brewing this classic beer since 1978.
Light, fresh hop bouquet
Rounded malt in the mouth with strong hop balance, deep bittersweet finish.
Golden full-bodied malted beer, silver medal winner at the 1996 International Beer Competition at Burton-on-Trent.
|Alton's Pride 3.8 % ABV
Supreme Champion Beer of Britain 2008
After years of fine tuning, our vision for Alton’s Pride is complete. A traditional amber bitter brewed using water from the Hampshire chalk hills. Full and clean tasting, initially malty then citrus fruit and resinous hop build to a quenching bitter finish.
